Biography

François Rottenberg received the M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), Louvain-la-Neuve, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree jointly from UCLouvain and Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Brussels, in 2018. From September 2018 to August 2019, he was a postdoctoral researcher with the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, U.S.A, leading the 5G massive MIMO research efforts. He is now a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with UCLouvain and ULB, funded by the Belgian National Science Foundation (FRS-FNRS). He participated to various national, European and international projects. From 2015, he has been a regular visitor and collaborator of the Centre Tecnològic Telecomunicacions Catalunya (CTTC), Castelldefels, Spain and National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), Tokyo, Japan.

Research activities

His main research interests are in signal processing for next generations of communication systems, including novel modulation formats, multi-antenna systems and physical-layer security.
