Biography

Sidney was born in 1995 in Brussels, Belgium. In June 2018, he received his master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Bruface program organized by ULB and VUB universities. Since October 2018, he joined the Opera - Wireless Communications group in Brussels as well as the GeePs in Paris as a Ph.D student.

Research activities

Sidney is working on Physical Layer Security (PLS) to guarantee secrecy of point to point wireless communications in the presence of a passive eavesdropper. The idea is to precode the data by means of time reversal implemented in the frequency domain, and to inject an artificial noise signal on top of it
