Biography

Sophia Azzagnuni received an Electrical Engineering Master’s degree, major in Information and Communications Technology, from the Brussels Faculty of Engineering (a joint program between Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB)) in 2018. Her Master’s thesis entitled "Crowd monitoring and density forecasting based on Wi-Fi measurements”, partly focused on the design of time series models that forecast key statistics useful to event organizers, which include crowd density. She then joined the OPERA-WCG and LISA groups at ULB, where she managed an IT platform.
